What is this Asylum of s.Y.n.? Well it began years ago, perhaps a history lesson will help.
In the beginning there was the Twisted Asylum, a place for me to unleash my dark side, and craft my works for the world to see. It later became the Wicked Asylum, a few alterations, and more focus on photography and models were the intention. After time it was transformed into a interactive site with an ongoing story that was told through various journals and diaries from fictitious characters that were all in a mental asylum. Eventually this asylum closed its doors, but it was not forgotten.
As things changed around me what the asylum meant to me changed as well. But never vanishing was the insanity it holds. We all have that crazy part, that darker more twisted, sometimes wicked self that lies within us. It breathes imagination just as we do. And from it are often times the most imaginative things. No restrictions on what we can create, how it can be interpreted, or what imagination it will ignite in another.
This is the Asylum of s.Y.n. This is my place for the more unstable views and opinions I have to share. My goal is not to make my opinion and obvious statement to be agreed with or disagreed with. Its to shatter perception of what should be and make it how I want it to be. You may get offended, and should you....you only have yourself to blame.
